My previous hp printer allowed me to scan multiple photos all at one time to my pc but save them as individual files.  When I go into the scan part of the software and go to advance jpeg has a box checked to save that way but is greyed out.  Can you tell me if this printer should be able to do multiple pictures at a time.  If not I probably would never of bought this printer.

did anyone help you with a solution.  HP doesn't seem to care about this.  Yet it is very annoying when trying to scan multiple photo's

I believe the feature you are looking for is included in some HP Photosmart printers. I am not certain the Officejet 6500A plus has the capability, but if it does the article below should show you how to find the settings.

Fax doesnt work...One phone line for fax mach and phone. Was on with tech support for over an hour.

Now when he tries to call back I lose connection...

What exactly happens when you try to fax? Do you receive any errors while faxing and have you tried running a fax report?
