HP Office Jet 7510 wide
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I cant scan with my HP Officejet 7510 wide.

I have connected it to my HP G72 laptop with the USB cable and loaded the disc, but when I run set up it dosen't appear to have loaded the Scan files. So when I go to scan in "devices and printers" an error box comes up saying "The HP Officejet 7510 series was not found"

Please can someone help as I am so disppointed when I have been using the HP G55 (great all in one) for 12 years without any problem until just recently.

Thanks in advance of any help.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Hope that helps.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
