I have a Photosmart C7250

I have a Photosmart C7250 setup on a wired network which works just fine, but the HP solution center software insists on a USB connection to work, can it be used on the network connection?  There are times I want to scan into the computers or get photos

from a SD chip.

Re: I have a Photosmart C7250

Hi Ernie987,

The short answer is that Solution Center works fine with a network connection.

It would appear the Solution Center was first installed with a USB connection on your computer.

There may be a couple possible solutions.  In Solution Center, you might find the network connection as a separate tab on the top or left side of the main screen.  It would appear as another printer.

Also, you might consider uninstalling completely, including Solution Center and then reinstalling with the network connection.  I'd try this second however.

I am an HP employee.

Re: I have a Photosmart C7250

Thank you for the reply.  The problem seems to have fixed itself because of a probable patch for the installation files.  When I installed it initially, the install locked up on the final portion for the scanner drivers.  After a period of some days.  When I turned on the computer, the installation came on by itself and finished the installation.  Now, everything seems to be working properly.  By the way, I had the same problem with three computers running Windows 7, 32 bit.  The same patch seems to have cured all of them.
