I just purchased a Deskjet 3052a and can't get it scan. I'm using Windows 7.

I just purchased a Deskjet 3052a and I can't get it to scan either from or to my computer.

Is it connected USB or wirelessly?  Do you get error messages or just nothing happens? If there is an error message, what is it?

It's connected USB. The message says my computer is not recognized.

What may be an obvious question possibly, is there any problem printing?

Hi, I also am trying to scan with a 3052a (prints perfectly) using the USB cable.  Running the HPSDU OR HPPSDR OR HPPS programs returns the same result.  There is no WIA running in this computer (win7 64bit).  The same printer works perfectly on my wife's Dell Inspiron.  My computer is also a Dell Inspiron both on win7.  Help!  Thanks
