The Installation Disk (V10) Says My OS Is Not Supported ..
Ive Tried Goin Into The Disk An Right Click "Setup.exe" > Properties > Compatible > Run In Compatibility Mode With "Windows Vista" ..
After That, It Installs Everything .. Then At The End When Its About 94&-96% Complete, It Crashes ..
The Programs Open An Work, Except For Solution Center When I Press "Scan" Or "Print" .. I Says Error About "HP Imaging Device" An Somethin About "HP Photosmart" ..
Ive Tried Downloading The Software/Driver From Website (V14) .. It Started, I Select "Next" Then It Just Exits .. Ive Tried Every Solution Possible (That Ive Found) .. But Maybe I Messed Up Somewhere .. Help Would Be HIGHLY Appreciated ..

Hi there rurrow.
Before you have installed the new software to your computer, did you uninstall the old software before installing the new one? If not that might be the cause because the programs are all mixed up.
You need to uninstall first the previous one and redo the new installation using the latest driver.
Uninstall first the previous software. Insert the installation disc that came with your printer. Open My Computer. Explore the CD Driver for the HP Installation disc and you will see there a bunch of folders. Look for the util folder> ccc folder and run the Uninstalla l3. Before you run the uninstallation make sure the usb cable is disconnected on both ends if you have it connected that way. You will be prompted to restart the computer afterwards.
Next is we will do another uninstallation usign the download. Run the download and extract it and once the installation window pop up. Close the installation screen. Click on start and on the search box type there %temp% and hit enter and it will open a new window with a lot of files there. Look for the folder that is starting with 7z.. that folder will appear depending on how many times you have extracted the installation file from the website. Since we have extracted a new one earlier try to look on the folder which has 7z on the start and has the most current time on when it was extracted.
Open the folder then look for util folder. open ccc folder, run uninstallaion l3. after the uninstallation it will prompt you to restart the computer.
After restarting the computer run a new and fresh installation using the download from the website. Extract it one more time and follow the onscreen instructions for the setup.
Let me know what happens then.
