Hello All ..
My all In one pile of *&$# will no longer scan from the PC or from the unit, No problem doing printing, My computer did not shut off correctly and now Im unable to scan from the HP program. I get a PC error says: 'An unexpected internal error has occured' "restart program' "restart PC" "Reinstall HP software" I have done all of those, Including update drivers-software. BUT the kicker is I can scan just fine from Microsoft scan wizzard... What gives here?

What OS are you using?
Is the scanner connected via network? USB?
I had the same error on Vista with a different HP all in one. The fix was to install a patch (that for my all-in-one, is older than the latest software).
