Re: L7590 error message

What operating system are you use?

How are you connected to the computer?

Have you tried restarting the printer and computer?

Re: L7590 error message

Open your applications

Double click "Hewlett Packard"

Double click HP scan

(You may need to select the device)

Select "Document" or "Picture"

Hit Scan

Does this work?

If not go to your Apple menu> Software update

If it does, go to HP Utility (In the same Hewlett Packard folder listed above."

Select device

Select scan settings

Check the box that says "Enable front panel scanning"

Re: L7590 error message

When I try to select the device in the HP Utility, I get the message:  'HP Officejet Pro L7500' was disconnected.

When I press Start Scan on the device, I get the message:  No Connection to Computer.

I've checked the connections.  The device will print.

Re: L7590 error message

have a few steps you can try out. You may have completed some of them but I reccomend trying it again....

To uninstall and reinstall

  • Hp uninstaller

(Applications> Hewlett Packard> Device Utilities> HP Installer> hold ctrl+option+command> click uninstall)

  • Reset your print system

(Apple menu>system preferences>print and fax> hold ctrl>click in the white box in the left> reset print system)

  • Verify Disk Permissions and Repair Disk Permissions

(Applications> Utilities> Disk Utility> Select Mac HD> Verify disk permissions> allow to complete> Repair disk permissions> allow to complete)

  • Restart computer
  • Empty trash
  • Head to www.hp.com/support
  • Select your country and then select the green box for software and drivers
  • enter your printer name.
  • Download the newest driver
  • install the software
  • Apply any and all updates

(Apple menu> software update.)
