Product: HP Designjet 800PS Scanner
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking for a large format scanner to use as an independent device. I have the opportunity to purchase a used HP Designjet 800PS Large Format Scanner only and would like to know if I could use it in the same way as any other scanner, or is it only compatable with it's own printer? I am running Windows 10.

I think it only does one function: Print. I won't scan

HP Recommended

The HP DesignJet 800 scanner was an OEM scanner from Contex and can be used to scan but is not supported in Windows 10 and I would suggest the Contex SD One+36 scanner as low cost, lightweight and easy to use.
