Hello. When I try to scan multiple pages with my HP LaserJet 3015, the rollers always end up sending 2 or more pages through the scanner at the same time. This leads to either a jam or certain pages failing to be scanned.
Is this a common problem? Could the type of paper cause the problem? It has happened with numerous types, but I am currently working with HP Office 20lb paper. What can I do to fix it, short of manually feeding papers through one at a time? Thanks in advance.

Your separation pad may have worn out... More specifically, the rubber may become smooth, loosing it grip.
Additionally, there is a small spring in the assembly. This may have become soft over time; cut a coil off and bend it into back into shape.
You can also order this part. OEM # RM1-0890-000
