Multi-page Scanner 7510

I have an HP Photosmart 7510 and use the muli-pager scanner.  I recently scanned in a multi-page document on my 7510 - and, the documents, surprisingly had wet ink. It seems the wet ink accumulated on the scanner "eye" and now lines are drawn on every multi-page doc scan. Any suggestions on how to clean the scanner?  Thanks.
