My DJ F4280 scans but only 1/3 page. The other 2/3 is black. The same goes for copying.

Scanning function was apparently working well while scanning photos. Black strip appeared then found that I had lost the drivers, uninstalled them, installed OfficeJet 8000 drivers as suggested on HP Support Forum, reinstalled all DJ F4280 drivers, several other down loads including patch were suggested and applied, all checks out now as if there is no problem as per diagnostic tool and I still get the same poor scan. Prints well. Running Windows 7 on HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC.

Must be a printer hardware (Board defective) problem since having same problem on other computer.???
