My all in one M3035xsMFP will not scan inorder for me to email files

I get an error message saying " email gateway rejects job due to addressing" In addition, The Wizard Console I tried to install does not see printer and the Jet Direct is not working. I have updated firmware version V.34.74.FF
I have spent 3 hours with HPsupport on the phone with no result. T then hired a tech who spent the afternoonin my office trying to correct problem withno result.
"The All in One" was purchased in 2009 It is connected to a new Toshiba Satelite Laptop running Windows 7.
all other functions are working.

Did that happen after you updated the firmware?
I see you have owned the device for three years. Did this only just recently occur?

We uploaded the firmware yesterday.
yes, my desk top crashed so I connected it to my 4 year old Toshiba Laptop and that is when it started. To resolve it I boughta NEW Laptop andstill have theproblem

Are you able to access the printer with the webserver?
Have you cold reset the printer yet?
Cold Reset or Restore Default Settings on the HP Laserjet M3035
If you need to reset the settings of the HP Laserjet M3035 in order to clear admin password, or restore default settings, do the following:
Power down the printer
Power up the printer
As soon as you see the memory count, press and hold the number “6″ key
When the three lights on the panel get lit, release the “6″ button
The message “Select Language” shows up
Press the “3″ key; the next option is “cold reset”
Press the “6″ key to activate the cold reset
Wait until it recycles
If it works you will be prompted for Language date/time and other settings
The cold reset may also resolve the JetDirect module issue.

I have cold set it once with the HP rep on the phone on was online with him 3 hours he was not happy!

now I have lost my internet connection to the device, entirely. All cables are connected but I'm getting a message saying No internet connection. My laptop connected to the same router is still connected to the internet. All the cables are installed into my All in One Machine correctly, but I;m getting the message that it is not connected to internet. The Email function button is no longer on the screen.

Is the printer still in warranty?
Have you tried reseating the JetDirect module?
It sounds like a firmware flash gone bad.
