Odd scans o_o;

You see, when I scan in a picture, it sort of pushes it in, and stretches it a bit to the left (Not to mention the odd red tone to colored images).

I'm wondering if there is a way to adjust this, so that the pictures are /much less/ contorted.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's a HP Photosmart C5550 All-In-One.
