This issue could be related to power supply.
Try connecting the printer to a different power outlet.(Wall outlet) and try copying.
Please check this following doument.

I changed the outlet (from a power strip to a wall outlet), but it did not solve the problem.
The screen says "Copying page 1/1", but nothing happens. If I press the red cross to cancel to process, the machine gives a blank paper.
The screen then says "Copying cancelled" and the machine crashes.

No. Printing, faxing and scanning works fine.
It is only copying that gives a problem.
Obviously, we can not give print orders while the machine is "cancelling the copy job"

Ok then can you please try copying again and this time lift the lid and see if the scanner light bar is moving or not .If this is fine then please try to do a firmware update from the printer and if still the issue persists we can do a semi-reset of printer.

I tried to update the firmware via Webservices, but the printer can not make a connection with the internet.
It says that I should enter the proxy, but I am not behind one.
