Hi,
Try the following steps to isolate the problem
1) Plug in to direct wall outlet and not thru surge protector.
2) Do a ‘Blank Copy’: Do not place anything on scanner glass, close the lid and press the Copy Button, if the output is ‘Black’, then this seems to be scanner issue. You would need to contact HP Support
If the the output is not all 'Black' then please describe as what you see on the print out.

I received a blank white sheet. The day started great and scanned many images. Then It started with blurred scans to my computer. Went and bought new ink. Rebooted printer and plugged to the wall as suggested. I just tried a color copy and it printed Black and White. Scan to computer is still black and white. Now what? Printers only last for 1 and half year or less? The prints from the web are color.

@TABJU have you tried the hard reset steps given above?
Hard Reset:
Unplug the power cord from the printer and wall
wait 30 sec
Plug the cord back into the printer, and then plug it into the wall (make sure the cord is plugged into the wall, and not a surge protector)
Remember if you find any of my post helpful or want to say thanks make sure to click the white star under my name to give me Kudos.
I really appreciate it!
Let me know if you still have this issue after doing this step.
Thanks!
