Preview Button is Blanked Out in HP 4315 when I upgraded to a Windows 7 (64 bit) computer - HELP

i have a 4315 all in one and recently upgraded to a window 7 but preview button is blanked out - how do you fix this? It results in only able to scan one page at a time and not entire document. Frustrating

Try installing the HP Print patch.

It should restore the following functions

  • HP Print Status
  • Toolbox
  • Ink Levels
  • Solution Center
  • HP Scan (All-in-One)
  • Front panel scan button (All-in-One)

I tried that already and it did not change - preview button is still blanked out and while the ADF can scan the entire document, each page of the document remains a separate pdf - any other ideas? I appreciate any help here. Thanks.

Try uninstalling the driver software and the printer and then reinstalling it.
