Hello, @R0S - Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

Going through your post, I understand that you are having issues while printing MS Word documents. To assist you better with this issue, I need to know whether the issue is specific to the Word documents or not. Can you print other documents from your PC? If unsure try printing from the internet or try printing from your email and let me know if that works. Also, I need to know the operating system on your PC. Please reply with the same.

If the issue is specific to the MS word package, then try these general steps to try and fix the issue:

1) Go to Control panel - Devices and printers - Right-click on Deskjet 2050 and select "Printing preferences". Click on "Advanced" tab and make sure the "Advanced printing features" are enabled. Now try to print. If the issue persists, go to the next step.

2) Go to Control panel - Programs and features - Locate Microsoft office package - Right-click and select "Change" option. You will get an MS Office pop-up window. Select the "Repair" option and select "Continue". Follow the on-screen instructions to repair the office package. Once done try to print and check.

3) If the above steps did not solve the issue, then you may need to uninstall and reinstall the MS Office package. Check here for instructions: http://hp.care/2eJmVyl

Let me know if that helps!

Good luck 🙂
