I understand that you are looking to know the procedure to use Scan to email feature on your printer. 

Don't worry, I will be glad to help. 

Are you able to print or make a copy?

May I know the operating system installed on your computer?

How is the printer connected to your computer? (USB or wireless.)

Request you to provide the requested information for better assistance. 

 

Please follow the procedure mentioned under "Scan directly to email (network connections only)" section of this article for assistance. 

You can enable scan to email option using the printer assistant. (Windows PC.)

The issue was I that changed the password on my sending address email, which caused the email function on the printer to fail due to invalid credentials. I changed my password via the HP web interface, and it worked out. Luckily I had the IP address handy. Thank you!
