Hi all,

I have a HP Office Pro L7780 and when I scan documents it does not automatically scan the full page. It only scans the text and when accepting/saving the scan, the text size is increased. I want the machine to scan the full page like it is photocopying it, so I do not need to reduce/adjust the size each time prior to accepting/saving the scan. Can someone help my to get this correct in the settings of the machine.

> Try going to c:\program files\hp\digital imaging\bin, look for hpiscnapp.exe

 

> 2x click on that and it should scan right away, kindly check if your still having the same problem.

 

If you'er still having the same problem, I'm really sure if the printer is capable of scanning A4-sized paper, but if it is then uninstall HP Solution Center and HP Imaging Device Functions from control panel>add/remove programs then reinstall using this: SW Download Page 

 

Just select your operating system and look for the "Full Feature Software and Driver" installer. That's what you needto download and run. Good Luck!

So, photocopying works fine, right? Just try to download the HP Scan Diagnostic utility specific to your L7700 from HP.com/support and run the program to detect problems with your scanning software. If there are no errors, then it could just be some changes in the settings of the software that you're using when you scan.

 

BTW, what application are you using to scan? 😄

Thanks for your quick reply. I use the HP solution center as an application to scan. This is standard provided with the machine.

You are right, photocopying works fine. I downloaed the HP Scan diagnotic and no problems have been detected. I also checked the settings of the software but simply do not know where to look at or what to change. Thanks for your support.
