Scan problems

I have used HP Photosmart Studio successfully to scan from my HP Photosmart C4480 printer to files on my MAC OSX.  However recently I upgraded from Apple's "Leopard" to "Snow Leopard" and since then I can't scan.  I get an error message saying" Sorry, scanner could not be initialized (scanner not found)."   I've called Apple Tech Support but they haven't been able to help so far.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Greatly appreciated.

Hello unsavvy

 

The printer driver for Snow Leopard is different than the one for Leopard. The following article should help you uninstall your printer and the link after will bring you to the download page.

Uninstalling the Printer Software

Photosmart C4480 Software (Mac OS 10.6)
