Scanner and copier show multi-colored lines across my document.

My all-in-one HP C5180 is printing perfectly fine but shows multi-colored lines across my document while scanning and copying. Operating system is Windows Vista. Inserted a scan of a white page showing the lines. Available on a bigger size when needed. Pls help!
