Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

My company has recently purchased about 30 HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdn.  I have installed over half with no issues.  However I currently have one that the scanner will not work.  It is connected locally with a USB cable.  I installed the disc that came in the box with the MFP as I did with the others I installed.  After the software/driver installation the computer is able to see the printer.  I am able to use the print function fine.  I am able to share the printer so that other computers on the network can print. And they print fine.  The fax portion is not needed so I have yet to try this function.  The copier function also works fine. I have even tried the printer and scan doctor that has been suggested in other threads yet nothing.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver 3 times, but I am still unable to scan.  Is my product defective?

No idea whether something is defective -- something is at least "different".
