I just purchased an Officejet 6500, I'm trying to use it to scan multiple pages into an ancient MS Word 2000. It will scan all of the pages, and seems to transfer all of the pages, but then only the first image ends up on page one (I'm hoping to be able to scan several pages then have those page show up in Word, one scanned page to a Word page) This is followed by an error "An error occured while acquiring the image" I'm running Windows XP SP3, and Office Pro 2000 (which is probably the problem...) Could I scan multiple pages using Open Office?
Thank you!

Check to see if the images are not ending up one on top of another. Click on the first image and drag it down.
If your cursor is not at the bottom of the scanned image it will not add a second page.
