I just bought a Photosmart 5510 and would like to upload from my SD memory card (in printer SD slot) to computer - I don't want to print direct from the SD card. Does anyone know how I can do this please. My previous printers have done this automatically.
Have I bought the wrong type of printer? would be very gateful for your advice.
Many thanks.

Hi
Follow the steps below to map the card reader
1. Insert memory card into the printer
2. Open My Computer
3. Click on Map network drive
4. Choose desired Drive letter, and then enter \\192.168.1.101\memory_card in the folder
Note: replace the 192.168.1.101 with the IP Address assigned to your printer.
5. Click finish, and the drive will open to access the files

Hi HEKMM,
The standard USB cable will work to connect the printer to the computer.
