I get two black lines down the copy when I scan or copy using the top feeder. This has been an issue since I purchased it. Any way to solve this problem?

I'm suspecting that there's probably dust or foreign materials in your Auto Document Feeder (ADF) paper path.
Shutdown your printer, first lift open the scan bed cover & checks if the ADF glass has any foregin materials, if so, remove it with a clean dry cloth. If your scan or copy jobs still show black lines, you may again shutdown the printer, open the top cover of the ADF, look for any obvious foreign materials & use a clean dry cloth to remove it.
