My HP Officejet 6210 All-in-One seems to run out of colored in w/in a few months of purchasing. I don't even care to use color, but now that it is out, I can't fax or copy. Printing is not a problem, as my settings are for the black ink by default. I can't seem to change anything on the control panel - when I hit "setup" I get a beeping error and no options. Is there a way to set/reset my printer/fax/copier to only use the black cartridge? A way to totally disable the colored option? TIA!

Hi
You need to replace the ink that had run out in order to continue using for Copy or Fax. There is no user control to set the printing to default other than executing the job via choosing either using [Black] or [Color] from the control panel. in Printing perspective, you would have already done this via the settings in the print driver.
Hope this clarify your queries. have a great day.
