Where does scan go

If I scan a doc, by using cable until wireless problem solved, where is scan saved on pc.

On my last Canon printer, when scanning, you had option where to save?

Do you have the same model? must admit, as afternoon is progressing, I am not very happy with my purchase, and the time and noise it takes to print 1 A4 doc is much slower than my previous canon Pixma MP160.

My scans go to My Documents/My Pictures/Scans

Hi Frenchman, I have All In OneJ7580.  I agree Im not too happy with it, it also autoformats any handwritten text to weird language text, instead of scanning like a copy, like a photocopier would do...currently about to call helpdesk grr.

Sometimes they turn up in My Scans, sometimes they dont....

The default scan location is

C:\Users\Pictures\My Scans

Thanks, but I could not navigate to where you said, I tried my computer / c / and I tried start/r/click/explore/c drive but could not see users

Do a search for the folder....Start....Search

The folder is in My Documents most of the time.

Sorry forgot to ask. Are you using Windows XP, Vista or 7?

Any of the above operating systems you would have 'My pictures' folder and 'My scans' would be under that.
