computer is not listed as an available computer on the printers control board. This is the error message I get when I try to set up scan function on my 3054 j610 printer.

Please clarify your operating system and how the printer connected to your PC.
For wireless network connection, please ensure to enable the Scan to Computer feature:
Be aware it is required to activate Scan to Computer upon any PC restart, Shutdown or Standby mode.

actually I fixed it by finding another person on this forum with the same problem. It was a WIA problem. How came to be a problem in the first place, I havn't a clue, but it works now and I'm happy.

Not sure if you're still following this thread since your scanning problem has been fixed, but may I ask if you had ever installed or used any "PC Tools" software such as "Registry Mechanic" or "Performance Toolkit"? Based on a few other customers reports, installing or using these tools can cause these WIA services and dependencies to be disabled.

I used Performance toolkit and it messed my hp scanner, i can print but not scan (HP Photosmart Plus B210a), what should i do? Where can i find solution to this (probably) WIA problem?
