Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

HP ENVY 7644

When I scan multiplage pages I get multiple files.   I want them all in one file.  I don't see any way to specify that. I can specify the format as pdf or jpg on the touchpad or either of MacBook Air or MAC OS X El Capitan

Welcome to the HP Support Forums @dnm123 - Hope you are well!

I see that you are trying to scan multiple pages to one file on your Envy printer using MAC. I will do my best to assist you with this issue 🙂

You need to use the HP Easy Scan app on your MAC. You can go to http://hp.care/2c8ckuS to get detailed instructions. You can also download and install the HP Easy scan app from the same document if not installed already.

Once installed, Open the HP Easy scan app from your MAC and then follow the steps mentioned below:

  • In HP Easy Scan, select your printer name from the Scanner drop-down menu.
  • Click Scan.
  • Click “Scan Next Item” to add additional pages, or click “Done” once all pages are completed.
  • To save your scans to a folder on the Mac, click “Send” in the bottom right corner of the window, then click Folder.

Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!

Cheers 🙂
