my c309 will not copy

My printer seems to be working fine except it will not "Copy".  Everything sounds OK but the pages come out blank.  I cleaned and aligned the print heads and uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it still does not work.

My HP 309 will not copy.  When it attempts to print the copy it comes out blank.  Sounds like its copying but its blank.

What is the full model number for your printer?

Are the cartridges New OEM HP or remanufactured?
 
Are the cartridges out of ink?
 
What happens when you print a self test page from the printer?

My c309a will not copy but it prints any page from the internet or my computer. The cartridges are not new but they still have ink. They are aligned properly as well. Help!!!

If you are able to print, but you are unable to make a copy from the printer this is a hardware issue on the printer. Can you make a copy from either copy button (Black or Color)?

Can you make a standalone copy from the printer control panel?

 

What is the operating system on your computer?

 

How do you have the printer connected to your computer?

HP recommends that you download and install the Print and Scan Doctor any time you need to troubleshoot a problem with your HP printer from the link below.
