1. Product is: HP Deskjet 2050 J510 series
Product number is: CH350D
2. Operating system is: Windows 7 32bit
3. No error message
4. No changes made to the system when the problem was noticed
5. Product is : HCL AC2V0073 PC with its monitor, key-board & mouse
6. The problem is that the printer is not able to scan although there is no problem in printing and/or copying a document without the PC being switched on. I have downloaded & installed the latest drivers for the said printer from HP's site.
