scan size

Just set up my new printer HP photosmart Plus B210a and can't get it to scan anything larger than 4 x 6" Went to scan set-up - changed it 8.5 x 11 and it still will not scan any larger. Any ideas? I'm on a mac. Everything else is working/printing fine. Thanks!

hey jconamac! What application are you using to scan? Have you tried either Preview or Image Capture? Check out this document to see how to scan using those programs: How to Scan in Mac OS X 10.6 and OS X 10.7 without Using HP Software
