Re: why does my printer keep saying out of paper? it's not!

 Reset the product

  1. With the product turned on , disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait at least 15 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
  6. If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button
  7. try printing again

if this doesn't work...

If you just purchased 2 months ago you are STILL in warranty an will get free support if you call

If they are unable to resolve over the phone you may be eligible for a free replacment.... but they will have to go thru trouble shooting first. expect to spend close to 1 hour on the phone.

I have tried the unplug thing:smileysad:  It is almost like sometimes the roller inside doesnt make conection to the paper to pull it though and sometimes it does.  And a lot of times it prints half a page and then spits it out and starts over...UUggghhhh

Re: why does my printer keep saying out of paper? it's not!

The product or FPU number is important because we have 2 different 8500 premiums we have a909a and a910 a....

Depending on your specific  printer will determine what to do next.

My printer won't print it says it's out of paper but it's not.  It makes noises like it's trying to catch paper but  then it says "printer out of paper"
