Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

i have noticed that when i scan documents they are not straight. i make sure the documents are lined up correctly, also i can't open up HP Scan Doctor and the IT Service peope told me i had to get help from our Lan Administrator.

I came across your post and would like to help.

Need assistance in fixing the scanning issue on the printer. Is that, correct?

I recommend you to try the steps below and check if that solves the issue.

  • Clean the rollers on the printer with a lint-free cloth.
  • Adjust the paper guide in the tray in order for the printer to pick the paper straight.

hi! i really appreciate your help - however when i scan the document i still see it as being not straight. So i will have to wait until my LAN Administrator comes back and hopefully he will help me with this. Thank you
