HP Recommended

I had planned on upgrading the the Pro later this year but after this I will not buy an HP anything. The Pro probably does work fine but what happens with updates?  I could be in the same mess I am now. Since HP support told me to sell this one online and buy a Pro-I'm thinking they have no intention of fixing this issue. So why would I give them anymore money!! This was a great computer, when it worked but for the sort span of time that was, it sure was not worth the money.
