Kindly RECALL MY HP PAVILION TX2000

I brought TX 2000 in 2009 from India. As per my knowledge this was the first Touch screen system available in India with higher price range compared to an ordinary computer. I brought this only because I trust HP a lot. The system had superb speed and I really enjoyed my trading in this PC. After a year of use it started giving me hell lots problems .mainly

1. Starting and restarting become an issue.

2. The heat emission from the system.

Currently the system is not working .I realize from other users that it is a manufacturing fault.

Kindly recall this and replace a new one ASAP, as I have stopped my work only because of this issue. I learned a lesson that never ever buys a new product. Hope I am going to get a timely reply from HP As soon as possible.

I brought my TX200 in 2009 and 3 months after the 1 yr warranty ended my computer screen went blank and has not returned since. Its ashame that after spending so much money $1100 on this piece of crap you think that it would be long lasting. Calling into HP for some assistance, all they could tell to fix it would cost me almost $500. It was not worth it to me because I could buy 2 new laptops for the total cost and they would still be working. After researching and keep checking I am finding that I am not the only one with this issue. I ended up buying a 250.00 mini from Dell and it has not failed me yet and I still cant get my $1100 state of the art laptop to work. It is ashame that HP has taken almost 5000 computers money and can give an issue as to why this is happening and have been ignoring our cries. Well I have had enough I will be contacting a Consumer Watch Group, and shouting to any major outlets that can hear to look into this issue. You cannot take cosumer money and not offer some solution. All the issues for the computer not working is clearly a hardware issue and not user or software error. I have had so much data on that computer which I cant get access to. I had just downloaded the microsft office which end up being wasted.  HP has to do better and answer our cry for help.  So I will make it my duty to make sure they live in misery because they are clearing thiefs...they offer start of the art garbage and wont do anything to fix it.

been so long that i have a problem with your HP TX2000!

I bought it on home depot, ft. Lauderdale Florida! on May 3, 2008

i used it on ship ok and ama zed the features that you make! after finishing my contract and went back to

Manila, Philippines! on Novermber 10, 2008 the hardisk fail and i have to buy a new one a 250 gig HDD!

Which can't avail of your warranty! due to im on Manila! so i have to shoulder it the hardisk itself!

After then! 4months passby! sudenlly the black screen occur! which the common problem of your HP

TX2000! So i try to fix it to technician in here and have to pay for it my own again expense!

after 2months of used! i came back again to technician to arrange again the black screen failure to open!

after 2yrs. in time take it back again the third time! now i using it again and have a blog on here just to let

you know the problem which as a user/customers right! can you give as a recall! even i don't get a rebate

on buying these product! your HP TX2000 had me crave when it was release in market! and have to save

money on it to buy these model! maybe next time i'm thinking! of quality not the design itself and features!

My Pavilion's cursor jumps around. I'm in the middle of typing and when i look up, it's being entered in the middle of some other line. On mail replies, it's sometimes down in the old messag(se)e. I've tried disconnecting the wireless mou (It just did it there!) , moved the  I mean!!)ything. cursor off the screen, ever (See what) I can't finish a **bleep** line without it jumping all over. When I sit down to write papers or letters, I'm constckingantly ba  I CAN"T EVEN GET THIS DONE!!!!!   AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

I'm going through the same problem right now. My whole life is in that notebook and I had to take it to get all my work recoverd because the screen would turn on. All the other lights turned on the fan was running well, but it was getting really hot.  That same day i used it i printed but wheni went back the whole screen was black and nothing showed up. I agree with the recall.  I did not pay so much for a Notebook that was going to die on my all of a sudden. HP please recall this Notebook ASAP.

Apparently HP does not care about its customers, I had the same problem with my TX2000 I bought it in August 2009 and in Jan 2011 it was dead. Black screen and all the lights were on. I really can’t believe that HP will do nothing for its customers, it’s a shame because before I used to recommend HP to everyone. Now I tell everyone to stay awayyyy. HP needs to open up its eyes and acknowledge this defect and make it right. I spent $1500 on a laptop that only lasted about 15 months. I signed the petition online and I have heard nothing.

Good idea guys and girls. Everyone report hp to retail ombudsmen in your country or state. There is enough documented evidence. Hp are choosing to ignore the problem. They need to recall their dodgy product and unfortunately they do not care about consumers.
