HP TX2 Touchsmart: Fingerpring reader shocking me when in tablet mode!

When my TX2z Touchsmart is in tablet mode, and i run my arm over the fingerprint reader (I am left handed) it shocks my arm! I have had other people test it out just to make sure it wasn't just me, and they were also shocked. It's not a major shock, mostly very very annoying (like when you get out of a car and the door shocks you). Is there any way to fix this myself or do I have to send my laptop in, which id rather not do? This is very annoying and distracting when trying to draw.
