Hi
I recently purchased HP Pavilion DV6-1154TX. For the past 5-7 days, I found that everytime after I switch on the laptop, the color of the Quicklaunch mute button/symbol always remain amber irrespective of whether the audio is mute or not.
I have tried hard reseting the laptop (by unplugging the adapter and removing the battery and and putting them back after 1 min) as well as upgrading the latest quicklaunch driver (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloa
I heard that other HP laptops have similar problems.
Any solution?

Thanks for the information about rolling bank the drivers for IDT Audio. I was going nuts so thanks! It worked for me.
But for those who don't know ho to roll back the drivers -- it's not exactly done on the control panel. You need to open up the device manager. Then click on the arrow next to sound. Right click on IDT and then click on properties. Click on the driver tab. That's where you'll find the roll back driver button.
