Have a hp Pavilion tx2110us notebook, monitor quit working as did everything on the right side.

Have a hp Pavilion tx2110us notebook the monitor quit working, and I already tried using a VGA cable to hook it up to my desktop monitor and that did not work.  It also looks like everything that is on the right side of the notebook is out, including the wireless light that's in the front. Any suggestions as if it could be the graphics card and or the mother board?
