Horrible HP "service" in need of alternative fl repair center & battery store

[ Edited ]

I have an hp tm2 cto-2100 that is in warranty.

I had a low buzzing noise & was advised to upgrade the bios and run tests. I did the noise remained and a new issue emerged- battery needed to be replacedI made a service request.

A day later that request had to be amended to add in a key that managed to be broken through my keyboard protector. I was told three times the issues were fixable no cost.I sent it to hp repair center and got my receipt that it was in warranty, no charge, and estimated ship date. Several days later suddenly my laptop was declared out of warranty because my label somehow magically disappeared and there is an over $800 service charge.

I am totally sickened by the runaround I was given by their "customer service" of first it being my label magically disappeared, then it being beyond repair, and back to magically disappearing label.

After a rep told me not to worry about the labels as my laptop is under warranty and asked if I wanted to escalate to a case manager I did so.

The rep gave false info. I got the same runaround only wasting my time with a proof of purchase to end back to magically disappearing label. With a new twist the label disappeared so they could not service it. Apparently there was no missing label mentioned when I called them to check on my repair. No missing label on my daily checks of my repair status.

If there was no service done why am I being charged? If there was no service done then that receipt with the estimated shipmate date was a blatant lie.

I am in florida and looking for any quality repair center & any stores even online that sell tm2-cto2100 batteries.

I already found a great store for the key that managed to become damaged through a keyboard protector. Apparently according to the reviews plenty of hp users go there after they experienced hp's "service".

I'll be getting my laptop today and I'd like to have it fixed by Monday.

Any recommendations at all for a repair center in Florida in the Broward Country area?

As well as reliable place to get a tm2 cto-2100 battery?

* Got my laptop and my label with the serial/part number is half ripped off. Half since the part that states "All agency & regulatory labels are located under the battery/component doors" remains. While thesticker that was covering the part where theserial number & part number go is gone and the white part where the text was has been scrapped off *
