Hi,
I followed these steps exactly and some keys were disabled, some weren't. Most troubling is that my tab key is now turned off (even after reverting all the changes I made). PLEASE tell me where in the registry I can find how to remap the tab key for it's intended purpose - Also the internet key continued to work even when the others were disabled.
P.S. are you sure they're called "side one-touch keys" because a google search returns only links to this article!

Hi i found another way to disable the mediasmart key. Because the registry tweak didn't work.
Download CCleaner (a very useful tool anyway) and disable "HP Quick Launch" in Tools > Startup. This will disable that program from starting everytime windows start, rendering the Mediasmart key useless.
I suppose you could edit the registry directly but this is much easier.
Still no idea how to disable the Print key though.
Also I'm clueless how to disable these keys in Ubuntu. If someone knows, please reply.

Follow the tips listed in this thread:

Try some of those programs they help disable print etc. or add take away features/functions

I used this method to disable the calc feature... coz it would pop up like 150 times and basically shut down my computer... now I have that one taken care of but now both the sound and the HP Info Center keep popping up. They are not as bad but when you are trying to do something and it kicks you out or turns the sound up all the way when you are trying to be quiet it is quite annoying.
Any help on how to navigate to those locations in the registry and instructions on how to disable those two features. This would greatly improve my quality of life... lol... I dealt with the calc thing for like a year before I found a solution that worked... hopefully this is a lot more short lived. Thanks in advance!!!!
