Hi all,
My 3 year old son has ripped 12 keys off my key board and I need to buy a new keyboard. Where can I find a supplier? The HP.com site is not very user friendly in this matter. I bought the unit in New York, NY and there is no support in South Africa.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey Brian,
The part number based on your product for the North American style keyboard is 464138-001. Now the part is orderable in the US and costs around $66.50. With you being the South Africa is the real problem.
One option you have is to have the part shipped somewhere in the States if thats even an option then pay to have it shipped to you in South Africa or you may be able to contact the support group in your area for HP and refer to the part number I have provided they may just be able to ship it to you at a cost. This model keyboard is used in many notebooks sold all over the world so it is possible.
To be honest you may need to purchase it with a US credit card and have it shipped withen the states who can then forward it to you.

Hi,
hookin in this thread... I have a touchsmart tx2 and had a problem with the right arrow key. The key is jammed and nearly not useful anymore.
The laptop was byed in USA. Question is as I live in Germany can I sent laptop to German HP Support in case of honoring warranty?
Because I asked about costs If I buy keyboard myself I get an offer about 160 Euros which is heavy much. Does somebody know if theres related keyboard from another laptop model that I can use?
Best,
Gunnar

Ebay people. 12 bucks. You could buy a lot of them since you like to leave your laptop where your kid can reach it.
Sounds good. Can you point me to one, please? Keyboardmodel either US or preferdly DE (Germany).
