Power / Battery problems DV7 1002TX

I am having trouble with my power options for my laptop.

 

When the power is connected it works normally. When I add my battery it works normally for about 5-10 minutes and then switches only to battery power. So when the battery runs low it crashes.

 

When I can charge the battery and run just on battery ( no power) it works normally.

 

Can any one help with this????

what type of adaptor you are using? 120W, 90W?

Hi Charles, no problem just keen to fix the problem without too much trouble.

 

The Ac adaptor is a 90W.
