TM2T touchpad and touchscreen not working

the touchpad does not work and same with the touchscreen part of the computer. i have to plug in an external mouse for it to work. i uninstalled and installed the driver and it still doesn't work. i even rebooted the computer back to factory settings and still nothing. everything works except the touchpad and touchscreen. any suggestions?

When you go to Device manager do you see them as input devices?

Try forcing a "scan for hardware changes" in the device manager. Right click any device and select scan for hardware changes.

 

Did this happen after a BIOS update?

Have you gone into BIOS to see if they are enabled?
