Hello
I've got a TX2517au that I recently upgraded to Windows 7.
Using the default drivers from wacom (3.0.0.0) I get touch and pen input working for most applications.
Unfortunately this driver provides very limited pen calibration and a lack of pressure sensitivity in Photoshop (which is likely the most important application to many people who would buy this product)
Now upgrading to a more recent version of Wacom's win7 Bamboo drivers gives the pen full functionality and calibration, but removes any touch capabilities. It seems that all recent wacom win 7 drivers expect multi touch and do not support single touch.
Attempting to mix touch and pen drivers between wacom versions, or force the touchscreen to us the USB INPUT driver causes all sorts of erratic behaviour. This includes a jump cursor, innacurate touch, loss of touch calibration, etc...
So my question is, is there a proper - non hacked solution to get proper functionality in windows 7 for both the pen and the touch screen? If not now, is one expected?
I've spent countless hours trying to make these two play nice, and I'm ready to throw in the towel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mo

Well since no one else has chimed in, I'll answer my own question in case it helps anyone else.
After trying countless combinations of win7 drivers from wacom, I finally figured out the right combination.
I used the latest Vista driver from the HP site. I then disabled the touch driver (trial and error since the pen and touch drivers have the same name in the device manager). This gave me a fully functioning pen across all aplications. I then manually updated the touch driver and picked USB INPUT DEVICE from the list of available drivers.
And voila, working touch and pen with pressure.
I hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.

I recently had a similar problem after upgrading from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate. The pen only worked on some screens and not others, the finger touch didn't work at all and the calibration was stuck.
I upgraded all the drivers listed at the HP site but this didn't solve the problem.
My solution was to go into the device manager and to upgrade the individual drivers under 'Human Interface Devices' for wacom and to upgrade each one individually to the latest version. The new drivers have installed 'Wacom USB Pen' and 'Wacom USB Touch'. There is a now new calibration facility and the pen and touchscreen works fine :-)
