TouchScreen problem tx1151ea

Hi there!

I think i must open a new topic, because my touchscreen is not working, but my webcam has not any problem, so I think this is a diferent problem than the other that has been worked out on this forum. (touchscreen&webcam).

Some time ago, the touchscreen stopped working, and now I actualized to W7 and it has not fixed my problem. In the device manager there's not any touchscreed recognized. I think it could be a "mouse" from Wacom, but i'm not sure.

Could you please help me on this?

have you installed N_trig or not? first install N-trig if it appears in the control panel then i will further tell you what to do...

Hello, I'd just like to write that I have the same problem, only its on a tx2-1274dx laptop.  I updated the n-trig driver just last night and that seemed to have fixed the problem.  Only now this morning the problem has reoccured.  The touchscreen does not work whether I touch it with my finger or with the pen.

I don´t have the N_trig, and I'm not able to find the 32-bit version of it, I'd be grateful if you could help me

sorry to say but what i was thinking was due to the problem in n-trig so its different issue..i hope you find a solution soon

I think you misunderstood me

I don't know if my problem has anything to do with that N_trig, but I'd like to try, if you could help me to find that program?driver? for 32bit (I have only found the 64bit version)

Dana I looked for the drivers for your computer and I don't think you compuer supports the N-trig for 32 bit.  I went to the drivers page for your laptop and this is all that there was on that page: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us〈=en&product=3412035

From the looks of it, I don't think your comnputer has drivers for Windows 7 either.  This is what  I found when it ask for the Operating system on the laptop: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3412035&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&submit.y=10&s... as you can see Windows 7 is not listed.

I know it's not officially supported, but it works without any problem

one of my friends uses 32bit and he told me you can use n-trig for 64 bit in 32bit as well ..but i am not sure  since i didnt try..

so may be you can try downloading ntrig for 64 bit and then installing it in yours ...let me know what happens...
