Touchsmart TM2T-2100 won't boot/start up.

I turned it on, logged in, and then I went to go check my email. Halfway through a message, i heard a POP and then the screen went totally black. I've been trying for hours to get it back on, but it's not working, and apparently the warranty (which was until 2013, according to HP Advisor) I had has expired.

 

Things tried:

- cooling it down

- heating it

- cleaning out visible dust in vents

- restarting

- hard reset

- a different (working) AC adapter

- boot from battery

 

Nothing happened.

Help me, please?

count me in: TX2510US. bought: September 2008.  blank screen... flashing LEDs. will try one of the easy fix method in youtube. hope it works and goes fine for one more year, that will suffice...
