Hi, everybody! I have a problem that maybe you can help me with.
I have a HP Pavilion Tx2510us, 19 months of happy and flawless use... until now. I turned it off and now it just refuses to start. I tried several different ways of turning it on, every troubleshooting step I could find online, nothing worked and it is basically unresponsive.
Ok, now, as for the troubleshooting steps I tried, I removed: the laptop's battery, both memories (I even tried leaving one out, proved both slots, both memories) and the motherboard battery - Once, one at a time, to test the laptop's response and once all tree at the same time, just to be sure. And I also tried connecting an external monitor too... same story it doesn't boot.
When I press the power button the LED lights blink (the one besides the caps lock key and the End [num lk] key , the rest of the keyboard lights stay on and so does the fan. But it doesn't boot.
Help pleeeeeeeaaaaaase!!! ![]()

Hi,
There are a list of blink codes in the table below.
Has this helped you identify the issue?
Best wishes,
DP-K

I have the same computer but the problem is I get codes 303 & 305, hard drive overheated. I have replaced the harddrive 5 times. I had trouble with warranty replacement on the first drive, it burned up 6 months after I purchased this computer. the second drive went after 6 months and so on. I am thinking of replacing the motherboard but it seems that would not resolve the issue. Since HP is not going to recall this computer to fix the rpoblem, I guess I will replace it with someone else's computer design, one that does not get overheated.

As long as I don't turn it off it never stops blinking, so I'm going to buy another AC adapter and I'll let you know... Thank you!!!!

The web is littered with complaints similar to this. And, I am also expereinceing this. No response or support from HP. HP, you are losing a good customer.
