blue lights, no keyboard... tablet not recognized anymore either

I was attracted to the tablet but sadly after a year and a half I have hardly used what I paid about $800 extra for. I prefer using my sons netbook to this machine. It gets way too hot, the keyboard freezes up and blue lights appear above the num lk and beside caps lock when this happens, it has happened since day one. The tablet is about half an inch off when using the pen and I cant close a window as the corners are out of the boundries of the pen being recognized... the support thing has told me i need a bios update since the day I bought it, I tried this once and after many hours of waiting I gave up and sent it in for support which cost me $100 bucks to get my harddrive backed up. I got a machine back with all the same problems it had before and hp didn't even update the bio's when I got it back, obviously I'm not going to attempt that again as it cost me my computer for a few weeks.

I don't know if you guys can help me get a decent machine that doesn't burn me everytime i put it on my lap, doesn't run the fan so loud I can't hear my music, or actually functions as a tablet, which is completely gone the past month from windows updates performed. The HP Support Assistant is a DANGEROUS tool that provides little information regarding a very serious update this computer required and bios updates should be reason for recall especially when needed to fix flaws in the original design.
