Has anyone tried this combination yet?
Intel X25-M (brand new)
First, I have updated the laptop BIOS to the latest, May 2009 version F.0C
Next, while installing XP Pro, I get a blue screen with "stop: 0x0000007B". My Google research points me to one article: http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt-2000-xp/56077
Therefore it looks like the HP isn't talking to the Intel drive.

Do X24-M use ordinary sata connection as on regular hard disk?
If it does, try to slipstream AMD sata driver using Nlite, download Nlite, learn how to use it.
A good guide to slipstream sata driver (the guide only shows ICH8 sata driver not AMD sata driver), your sata driver is given below.
AMD SATA AHCI Controller Driver
- In Nlite, choose the option of insert -> multiple driver folder
- Select ONLY x86 driver for AMD SATA AHCI when asked.
- Never choose x64 driver when asked
Pavilion DV2922TX, XP-SP3 32bit, Intel T5750 2.0Ghz, Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS with 128MB, 4GB 667 DDR2, 250GB HDD

Thanx for the help so far.
1.) I started on HP's site, no XP driver help.
2.) I then went to Intel's site and only found a BIOS update for the X25-M. I tried to flash the BIOS on my Intel SSD using Intel's flash utility. Fortunately, it said it already had the latest version of the BIOS.
3.) I am currently in the process of trying the slipstreaming of an AMD driver using nLite (Slick utility BTW).
I will keep this thread posted on my progress!

UPDATE: Slipstreaming the AMD SATA AHCI Controller Driver into the XP Pro installation disk using nLite worked!!
Thanx again for ALL of your help!! I'm now looking forward to the speed and economy of the Intel X25-M SSD on my HP pavilion tx2500cl.
